For complete listing information please select the click to bid button to see this item on ebay. 1997 dodge ram 2500 - 5. 9 12-valve cummins turbo diesel. 4x4 with the 5-speed manual transmission. 205,757 actual miles with absolutely no rust. This truck spent its entire life in the pacific northwest close to seattle. It has not once been exposed to snow or salt and is as solid as they get. This vehicle has been impeccably maintained from day one. It has 20k on a new clutch and the 5th gear nut was addressed along with the dreaded killer dowel pin. It is and always has been factory stock except an air filter. Comes with an air compressor under the hood for filling tires or running air tools. The hood and the roof are getting a little cloudy. The bed has been used and is plenty scratched up with a few dents. There are dings in the tailgate that do not affect anything. A spray-in liner would do miracles for this thing. It has bed rails from a long while ago for towing a horse trailer but has never been close to overloaded or overheated and the 12-valve cummins runs better than new. The front end has always been maintained and it drives completely straight with no shimmies, shakes, or pulls. The interior is beyond clean and exceptionally well kept as seen in the photos. No saggy doors, loose panels, or broken buttons. Everything works with no goofy idiot lights on the dash or anything like that. No annoying squeaks or rattles while going down the road. The dash is not cracked on this truck and the headliner is tight! It has a a ton of tread on the mud tires and is absolutely ready to go. We all know these 12-valve 5. 9's are a dying breed. With the 5-speed standard this is as rare as it gets. It will sell to the highest bidder. It has been owned by 2 gentleman so it is not some overpriced, turned up, & beat down piece of garbage. Somebody is going to get very lucky and be very happy with this truck. I can assist in getting the truck to a terminal to save on costs.
